In March, 8 participants took part in a Bobbin Lace class at the Craft Museum. 2 great instructors, Jocelyn Froese and Rise Thompson, walked us through the 3 basic stitches for learning bobbin lace. We also had a private tour of the antique Lace Exhibit currently in the museum. What a great group of students and teachers. We learned so much as well as making some new fibre friends.

Our February Studio Workshop was a great success. 14 participants shared ideas, information and learned some new techniques for finishing their art work. Several shared their ideas and progress on their entries for ICE, the next TFAM exhibit. Yvonne Carlson, Elaine Filyk and Cathie Ugrin did demos on squaring up, finishes and portrait quilts. As always, "show 'N share” was a lot of fun as we got to OOh! and Aah! over each others art work.
