Jubilant, diverse, and inspiring, Joy is a feeling to recognize, embrace, and share.
Since March 2019, the world has shifted. Fear, isolation, and panic have become norms. Unmoored from the norm, we have been drifting.  Slowly we are awakening, our mood is shifting and we can see light in the future.
“Joy is an intense, momentary experience of positive emotion”. (Ingrid Fetell)
It’s intangible, that’s why people try to capture it in different forms to remember the moment.

What brings you JOY? What will the new reality be for you?
- Seeing and spending time with family and friends?
- Enjoying in person performing arts, sporting events
- Dining together, travel
- Social and spiritual gatherings
- Children laughing, people cheering, choirs singing
- Flowers in the garden, a sunrise or sunset
- Hugs, handshakes, kisses

Dimensions of the artwork:
  • Height - 18”
  • Width  - 18”
  • Maximum Thickness: 0.75”
  • No 3-D items.
  • No hard framing or glass.
Finishing of the artwork:
The finishing (binding, raw edge, facing etc.) of the art piece is the choice of the artist.

Entering a TFAM Exhibit
Please remember to:
  1. Complete the Intent to Enter once you have decided to enter.
        Galleries require certain information to book shows;
        the intent to enter provides us with the ability to send out show proposals and
        book galleries.
   2. Complete your Entry Form as soon as your artwork is complete.
      This is where we collect all the artwork information including pictures.
      The deadline is May 31, 2021 unless other arrangements have been made.
***   3. Photos
The Entry form now includes the ability to upload your images for this exhibit.
Two images are required for this exhibit.  One showing the artwork with all edges shown. One with all background cropped so only the artwork shows.
      - all images should be minimum 2 mb in size.  If you are not sure, click file properties and the file size will show.
**Note: Before uploading your images, please rename the image files with your name and artwork title.   Example: "Smith John Over the Rainbow.jpg"
   4. TFAM needs a short bio for all members.  These will also be used in the gallery proposals.
If you did not submit one when you joined or would like to submit a new one, please take the time to do so now and email it to us.  Just a few words to tell us about yourself, the fibre artist.

Susan Selby wrote an informative article on how to enter a show;
