Celebrate 5 years of fibre!
TFAM is entering its fifth year! We have created four travelling exhibits – Manitoba Moments, ICE, River, Shifting Perspective, and one Challenge Exhibit – the C.O.V.I.D. Journal Challenge.
In 2022, along with our yearly themed exhibit, we think it’s time to invite the TFAM members to showcase the creativity and diversity of their artwork. The (almost no rules) ‘TFAM Member Show’ will take place at:
cre8ery gallery in Winnipeg from October 5 – 18, 2022.

Dimensions of the artwork:
  • Maximum Height - 48”
  • Maximum Width - 30”
  • Minimum Size: No Restrictions
  • Maximum Thickness: No Restrictions
  • 3D items welcome
Finishing of the artwork.
The finishing of the art piece is the choice of the artist.
Hanging sleeve:
Each artist will be responsible for their own hanging device.
The pieces must be ready to hang at drop-off time.
Labels and Transport:
  •  No restrictions on the labels but ensure your artwork has a label which includes the artwork title and artist name.
  • Each piece should be in a collapsible storage container or bag of some kind with the Artists name and 2022 TFAM Member Show clearly written on it. These will be stored at the gallery during the duration of the show and used to return the art work.
  • We will have wall labels beside each fibre piece so will require a 50-word maximum Artist Statement per entry.

Entry Fee:   $20.00 per entry.
Maximum of 1 entry per artist.

No minimum sale price if for sale. NFS always an option.

Entering a TFAM Exhibit
Please remember to:
  1. Complete the Intent to Enter once you have decided to enter.
        Galleries require certain information to book shows;
        the intent to enter provides us with the ability to send out show proposals and
        book galleries.
   2. Complete your Entry Form as soon as your artwork is complete.
      This is where we collect all the artwork information including pictures.
      The deadline is September 12, 2022 unless other arrangements have been made.
***   3. Photos
The Entry form now includes the ability to upload your images for this exhibit.
Two images are required for this exhibit.  One showing the artwork with all edges shown. One with all background cropped so only the artwork shows.
      - all images should be minimum 2 MB in size.  If you are not sure, click file properties and the file size will show.
**Note: Before uploading your images, please rename the image files with your name and artwork title.   Example: "Smith_John Over the Rainbow_2022.jpg"
   4. TFAM needs a short bio for all members.  These will also be used in the gallery proposals.
If you did not submit one when you joined or would like to submit a new one, you can do so here.  Just a few words to tell us about yourself, the fibre artist.

Susan Selby wrote an informative article on how to enter a show;
please read for reference. Entering a TFAM Exhibit.
